The goMobi Challenge has come to an end. For those who weren’t following too closely, the goMobi Challenge was a contest to see the different and creative ways a designer could use the developer-specific tools included with each goMobi account.
The entries, which came from participants on practically every continent, were stellar. The judges even requested additional time to make sure each site received a extra-thorough review. After careful deliberation, our judging panel chose a shortlist of four honorable mentions and one winner.
The four honorable mentions are:
- http://agltd.examplesite.mobi by Edmund Uspessij (Netherlands)
- http://chattcougar.mobi by Cameron Johnson (USA)
- http://mataroactivamobi.examplesite.mobi by Francesc Xavier Escandell Jiménez (Spain)
- http://rnsbiz.examplesite.mobi by Richard Price (USA)
And the winner of the goMobi Challenge is http://www.snowboards.mobi by Nigel Ankin (UK).
The judges found that Nigel’s site “embraced the full suite of goMobi tools” and offered “rich multimedia content.” As winner, Nigel will receive a 16 GB WiFi-enabled iPad, 100 free goMobi accounts and a press release spotlighting his work.
We’d like to give a special “thank you” to our judges:
- Michele Neylon of Blacknight (Ireland)
- Tim Green of Mobile Entertainment (UK)
- Jeremy Martin of 3CInteractive (USA)
And an especially big “thank you” to everyone who took the goMobi Challenge!
